The Christian life is shaped by surrender. As we yield to God, we are freed from self and begin to walk in His purpose, experiencing peace, freedom, and the fullness of life found in Christ.

The Christian life is a journey of growth and movement with God. As we walk with Him, He increases our capacity to carry His purpose, shaping our character, faith, and ability to steward what He entrusts to us.

Waiting on the Lord is not a passive pause, but a place where God does some of His deepest work in us. This post explores what it means to trust God’s timing, why we are often tempted to move ahead of Him, and what it looks like to wait well with faith, patience, and purpose.

We are not called to live looking backward. God remembers our faith, not our failures, and He calls us forward into what He is doing now. The past has been settled at the cross. There is a new thing ahead. Forward is the way.

We often look for the big moment, but growth doesn’t happen there. It happens in the staying. In the choosing again the next day. In the small promptings we either follow or ignore. Little by little, that’s what shapes our lives. Part Three of the Walking with Purpose series.

At the beginning of each year, I ask God for a word to guide my season. His word brings clarity, vision, and direction for the year ahead. Last year He spoke Restore, and I experienced deep restoration in my faith, purpose, and identity. This year the word is Forward. When God speaks, His promises carry the power to shape our season and lead us into His purpose.

God’s purposes always begin with Him. He doesn’t ask us to come up with a plan—He invites us into His. When we understand that, everything changes. This message is a reminder that God is the one at work in you, giving both the desire and the ability to fulfill His purpose. —Ken Grenfell

These past weeks in South Africa reminded us how powerful it is to walk together in Christ. Each person is needed, every gift matters, and unity allows God’s Kingdom to shine. From prayer and worship to ministry in action, the joy and strength of team shows what His body can do when we embrace one another fully.
